Here are some "H" and "FOX" designs to test your sewing tensions - - - - - The "H" design is the most popular one to help check and adjust sewing tensions, but the "FOX" design also allows you to sew in every possible direction in which your pantograph will move (horizontal, vertical, and diagonally) - - - - - Unzip the attached ZIP file to find 10 different "H" and "FOX" designs (5 of each), for 1, 6, 9, 12 & 15-needle machines - - - - - All letters are about 1" tall, with column widths of 6 mm (roughly 1/4"), for nice wide satins that will help you adjust your sewing tensions according to the "1/3 bobbin thread, 2/3 top thread" rule - - - - - We recommend sewing these designs on felt or scrap cloth, NOT on actual garments - - - - - Likewise, please note that no emphasis was put on lock stitches or underlay, so you should NOT sew these designs for customers, only for your practice and tension adjustments - - - - - Last but not least, trace, trace, trace! Technology South can not be held liable for any damage to your machine, garments or otherwise resulting from embroidering these designs.
