Follow these steps to set a specific Thread Chart from the EO9 System Library as the default Color Palette for your software:

1. From the View ribbon, click on the Threads icon to open the Color Palette.

2. When the Color Palette loads on the screen, click on the Thread Charts tab and then choose the desired line of thread from the pull-down list.

3. At this point, you can just click on any color from the list on the left, then select a new color for that needle from the chart on the right.

4. For a quick setup, you can just click on Associate all colors, and all the needles will be assigned the closest color available from the selected chart.

5. From the Open menu at the bottom left of the window, choose Set Default to set the new chart setup as the default Color Palette.

6. Should you ever wish to return to factory defaults, just go back to the Color Palette window and choose Delete All Associations from the color association menu.
